Born to a family of small money lenders in Mont-de-Marsan, France 1389. Scyid and older brother Illano were sent to Milan to study under relatives.  Later Scyid returned home to France while Illano stayed in Italy where he met an unexpected (yet most likely well deserved) demise during a "botany" demonstration.  After sorting out their brother's affairs and deciding to travel a bit more before taking over the family business, Scyid currently lives in the Kingdom of Northshield.
