Bâro Iohannes Glenfidanus is the oldest son of a minor Scottish house who joined the first Swedish Crusade in 1150. While on crusade he earned title and wealth as a herald in the service of Bishop Henry of Uppsala. His most notable achievement during this time was winning the heart of his wife. Now, he travels Europe with her in search of wisdom, the varied flavors of local cuisine, and in study of the arts of the blade.
