One and all shall know that We, Aesa and Kitadate-tenno, rulers of the great Kingdom of Northshield, have heard many good reports of Kit Marik, espcially his service to Our Kingdom and Our Shire of Shattered Oak, and his varied interests in diverse arts. We herby are moved to advance and commend him with this Award of Arms. We bestow upon Kit the right to bear arms as duly registered with the College of Arms of the society and all rights and responsibilities associated with the armigerous status.

This is based on a period exemplar. This is a bit unique in documents of the period in that it combines a bar and vine border with botanicals (the lily leaves and blooms).

Materials used:  The lilies are primarily mineral azurite, combined with malacite and a selection of yellow and orange ochres. Diaper pattern in border and initial in blue (ultramarine), red (Chinese Vermillion) and gold (mica powder *PearlEx*) as I did not have access to shell gold at the time. The gold leaves and seeds in the vinewrok are also PearlEx Gold.
