A noble woman from the late 16th century France, with four properties including the beautiful Mur de Fleurs Manoir, located a few miles our of Paris, a vast estate in northern Scotland, a modest house in London, and a Castle in Irland With a great deal of sailing Fleur de Lys manages to divide her time among all her estates. Thou wars and a recent plague has prevented her from returning to London this year.
Her late father, having been a body guard to the French King, has caused the King to take and interest in the future of the young heiress. Having land is Scotland by way of her late mother, those neighboring Laird who's land can be influence and effected by her political alliances have begun to take an interested in her future choice, and having a house so close to Grenache, and under the eyes of the Queen, has lead the English Queen to become far more aware of la Dame Fleur de Lys, than she herself is comfortable. However she is determined not to allow French King, English Queen, or Scottish Laird to determine the future of her holdings or her heart, thus she spends her time consulting friends and confidants on ways to avoid and dance around any full commitment to one ruler over the other leading to months spent in Irland. It is a delicate political dance, but with time and intrigue, she will dance her way out of any personally unfavorable political commitment.
She is able to fight as her father taught her to defend herself, knowing the need may come either over her holdings or as a result of his position. Though she endeavors to resolve all things peacefully.
She enjoys sewing and creating works or art in fiber and textiles, for there is not much to do on the ship as she sails from country to country. The Liberty being her most prized possession, a three mast, square sail frigate with a crew of 60 who make merchant runs from France to Scotland regularly delivering wool to France and silk and spices to Scotland.
