Jóhanna was born in the wintery and rocky lands of Iceland, the youngest of four children and the only daughter. Her father was a chieftain of a place they called Adalbol, and for much of her life Jóhanna wanted for nothing. She was contented with pretty baubles and magnificent fabrics that her father and brothers returned home with, and she often kept herself busy with crafting simple jewelery and embroidery. After her father's death, the lands were split amongst her three brothers: Maxime, Thoron, and Eirik; Jóhanna decided to stay at the homestead with her eldest brother Maxime who had agreed to let her take a part of his land for her own.
Now almost 24, Unmarried, and without child, Jóhanna lives happily on her brother's land tending to her chickens and goat. She loves singing, dressmaking, embroidery, wire weaving, cooking, dancing, practically anything that requires handywork, and occassionally sparing with Maxime, who insists she needs to learn to fight.
