| Mostly, honestly, my persona is "SCA, Calontir and Northshield". Once upon a time, very long ago (to some, but not to others -- AD 1987), I began life as a Saxon from "Saxon England in the 11- or 12-hundreds". When I started out, a friend had made me clothing that she said would fit there (my first "garb"!), and that was fine by me, so that was my (ostensible) persona. Since then, my wardrobe's variety has increased and my interests have focused more on the Society and the crafts and activities I can learn about and enjoy here, than on in-depth study or recreation of a single culture. I'm super active in the bardic community (especially with song & story), and enjoy casting pewter to make items both practical & decorative (mostly decorative, including my "Savage Daughter" line of jewelry). |
