Let’s get together in Nordskogen!

Please join us for an event in conjunction with "Wishes& Waiting" on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Therewill not be any schedule per se - the idea is simply to gather (yes, in garb).

While pre-registration is no longer required, we will be askingfor pre-registration by google form so that we can determine if an additionalporta-potty is needed. (The Hall has one porta-potty which will have beenrecently cleaned.)

The cost of the site has been donated; therefore there willbe no cost to attendees.

The venue is primarily outdoors but includes a largeAssembly Hall and two picnic areas on the north side of the Hall; there is alsoa modest softball area that could host some fighting.

To limit the risk of infectious disease transmission, thisevent will BYOE (bring your own everything). There is a "kitchen"onsite in the Hall, but it only contains a large, commercial refrigerator, asink, and prep space – there are outlets for crockpots, however.

Sorry, it’s not likely that we’ll be able to put up pavilionson the venue due to in-ground sprinklers. However, pop-ups might be allowable. Thegood news is that the grounds between the Assembly Hall and the shore of LakeMinnetonka are very shady!  (Yes, if youbring a swimsuit you can hop into the lake!)

The Assembly Hall has a super-high ceiling inside, so we cangather indoors if the weather is questionable; there is no air conditioningthough. HE Guenievre lives in the neighborhood, so if there’s an emergency needfor A/C, an accommodation can be made.

Please carpool as best as you can, as this is a small, privateneighborhood with limited parking. We will obtain a permit from the City ofWoodland to allow additional parking on Bushaway Road.
