The Kingdom of Northshield’s most distant and western shire, The Shire of Schattentor invites one and all to gather together before the weather changes and the ill winds blow.


Site opens:  Friday, Sept 6th, 2024, Starting at Noon 

Site closes: Sunday on Sept 8th, 2024, at Noon. 


Planned Activities: Archery, (Golden Arrow Competition, Tic, Tac, Toe Competition, Lifeline Competition), Saturday Archery Night Shoot, Thrown Weapons, Armored Combat, Rapier Combat, Bardic Activities, Arts and Science, a Brewing Competition and a Potluck Feast.

Youth Weekend (age 13-17) $20

Ages 0-12 free

This is the total price that includes camping.

Sight is wet. Hopefully not with rain.

Vault bathrooms are available.

Fires - At this time there is no fire restrictions but may be updated at a future date. All fires must be in fire pits at site or above ground fire pit, with a fire extinguisher near by. A fire pit can not be constructed on site. All fires must be contained and attended.

Pets - must be leashed and under control or tethered.

Alcohol - must be 21 per state law, only for personal consumption only, no sales allowed. 

Curfew, unless otherwise dictated by site guidelines, for children 12 and under is 10pm and for those 13 – 17, it is 1am. (Curfew rules will be suspended for youth who wish to participate in the bardic, until bardic competition has concluded).

During the curfew hours, children should be in their camp with a supervising, responsible adult or caregiver.
