Planned Activities: Armored Combat , Archery , Arts & Sciences Display , Arts & Sciences Competition , Bardic Activities , Classes , Rapier Combat , Youth Activities

Facilities: A-frame with cots for 23 (first come,first serve), seven cabins with electricity (see Fees for more info) restrooms and showers, A-frame great hallwith fireplace (bring your banners to display), a-frame deck overlookingMakoshika State Park, outside plug-ins, tennis court.  Handicap accessible for the main floor of theA-Frame.  Site is discreetly wet.  Tent camping is allowed in designated areas.

Fees

Site Fee:                       $10/person($40max/family)

Feast Fee:                    $10/person($40max/family, lap sitters free).  Feastcapped at 60 people.

Cabins Fees:                5 cabins with 3beds each (each cabin with two twin beds and a queen) ($30/day)

1 cabin with 2 rooms and7 beds (6 twins and a queen) ($70/day)

1 cabin with 4 beds (3twins and a queen) ($40/day)

 

*Accessto the 23 cots in the A-frame is included in the site fee, but they are firstcome, first serve, and bring your own bed clothes.

 

Pre-Registrations: The deadline for pre-registration for feast and cabins is Thursday, September3.  Please contact Seamus mac Brehon forreservations.

Directions: Takeyour best route to Glendive, MT, then take Exit 215 south on Merrill Ave.  Proceed approximately two miles, and thentake a left on E Barry St. Go four blocks, and then take a right on S TaylorAve.  Travel six blocks, and then take aleft on Snyder St, which turns into the Makoshika State Park Road, and takesyou into Makoshika State Park.  The eventsite (Glendive Noon Lions Camp) is approximately five miles into MakoshikaState Park (see website for map).  Therewill be SCA signs with LED lights placed regularly on the road to thesite.  If it has been raining heavily,the road will be impassable, and notice will be sent.

 

Handicap accessibility: Yes for the ground floor of the A-Frame(main hall), which has bathrooms, etc… No, for the cabins and most Sleepy Hollow facilities.

 

Site Rules:

1) No fires,except in the designated fireplaces

2) Site isdiscreetly wet, but this is a family event so use good judgment and discretion

3) Park/camp indesignated areas

4) This is arough terrain site.  Exercise duecaution, and keep children and pets supervised

5) Pets allowedoutdoors only and must be leashed (except service animals)

6) No smoking inany of the campground facilities. Dispose of butts in trash receptacles appropriately.

7) Attendeesresponsible for paying MT park fees

8) Attendees tobring their own bedding

9) The A-framewill likely have music until late, be advised if you are bringing smallchildren

10) Roads inMakoshika State Park are steep, so no large trailers are advised, but the roadsare no issue for cars.  In the event ofwet weather (unlikely), the roads are impassable.  If wet weather is forecast, notification willbe made to all pre-registrations and on the respective kingdom sites as soon aspossible (and refunds given).

 

Children's activities: Family games

 

Populace Space/Presence: There will be commons areas in and aroundthe A-Frame.  There will be room forTRM’s or TRH's Artemisia and Northshield to set up Their Presence.

 

Merchant Space: Space is very limited.  Please contact the event stewards.

 

Food other than feast: Free will Friday night and brunchSaturday, until gone.  Otherwise,Glendive has some restaurants.
