September Missive

Greetings, Exchequers!

Just a couple of items:

I will soon be seeking an NMR Deputy.

The current deputy, THL Gwenllian verch Rhys de Goer, has served for three years and wishes to step down. The position is straightforward and requires about an hour a week at the most. This deputy is responsible for collecting and depositing NMR checks from events. This position also prepares and submits to the Kingdom Exchequer a brief monthly report that is sent to Society. An official posting will go out next month; however if you are interested, or know of anyone who might be interested in an “exchequer-lite” sort of position, please contact me.

The new event registration system, SCORES, will likely go public sometime in September. This system will allow registrants to pay via credit card, and will simplify the Gate process for any events that use it. More to come on SCORES – based on the intro sessions Kingdom Exchequers have had so far, it looks like it will be helpful, especially for larger events like Boar’s Head, 12th Night and WW.
