Greetings kinsfolk!
A brief listing of the information your group needs to send to your Regional exchequer ASAP, if you haven’t already:
• 2022 Financial Report
• 2022 Bank Statements & Reconciliations
• 2023 Budget
• Group Inventory (if it hasn’t changed since last year, just note that for the Regional)
Also, it’s the time of year to take a look at your group’s Financial Policy to see when it needs to be reviewed. If it is time to review, do so at a meeting of the Financial Committee (for most groups, that’s the same as the regular group meeting). If no changes are made, note the new review date on the policy cover page and check that one off the list.
Revisions to group financial policies need to be sent to me for review, preferably with changes highlighted. Comments on why the changes were made are also helpful.
As of this writing, Northshield is still NOT approved to use PayPal for donations or heraldic fees. However, hopefully by the time this is published, I will have different news.
