February Missive

I still can remember my first event. It was magical in many ways (the theme was A Midsummer Night’s Dream – there was alchemy and fairies, oh my!) and it culminated in some bardic up on the top floor of whatever building we were in. There were candles in a cool attic space and Mistress Rosanore sang a filk song about a unicorn* … hooboy - I was HOOKED!

Bardic has been a thread throughout my entire time in the Society. I’ve lost count of how many bardic circles kept me warm on cool, starry nights! How many stories have been captured for us to retell?

Northshield has been fortunate to have quite a number of renowned bards who inspire us to aspire to great deeds and document our courage and valor – and lessons learned. May we always deserve their words.
