Greetings, kinsfolk!

No changes to Society policies or expectations this month.

The Exchequer Education Deputy, Mistress Gweniver Kenwyn of Roseth, retired at the end of December. She served in this role for FOUR years and during that time, she helped new exchequers learn the job and recorded several training sessions to help get exchequers up to speed. We thank her for her generous service and for improving the job of Exchequer in Northshield.

This means I am looking for a new Education Deputy. This is a role that any exchequer, or anyone knowledgeable about being an exchequer, can take on. It is a warranted position, but has no reporting responsibilities. This role works with the Warrants Deputy to identify new exchequers and help them understand the basics, answer questions, and make the jobs of the Regionals and Kingdom Exchequer easier. It’s Domesday season! All reports are cumulative and Q4 is no exception. In the last couple of years, it has not been necessary to mail a signed copy to me. That will continue this year – a scanned copy of the signed report sent to your Regional is all that is needed for reporting.

As the sun slowly returns, enjoy the slower pace of winter and the quiet peace that snow brings to the landscape.
