Greetings, Northshield!

If you have ever picked up a scroll for someone during a court as the “someone to accept,” and didn’t get it to the person, go find it right now and bring it to an upcoming event and get it to the Signet, get it to the person, or give it to your seneschal/herald/Baronage so they can get it to the person. Please. It’s not fair to the recipient or the scribe, and it’s a pain for the Signet to try to chase these things down or commission a new one, sometimes YEARS after the fact. (More on this subject on page 11.)

I would like to thank Ajax and Gaia for their care and feeding of scribes during their reign. The vast majority of their court lists were out 4-6-8-10 weeks in advance, giving the scribes of Northshield time to create outstanding original works of art and reduce the need for promissories and last minute awards on scroll blanks. Blank artists had time to create and collaborate with a calligrapher, and I was not stressed out (much). Vivant!
