August Missive

Thank you for being a part of this great Kingdom of Northshield. It is my honor to be your Seneschal. My missives have been non-existent as I learn this role and for that I apologize.

A little about me: I have been in the SCA since October of 1996, my sophomore year of high school. I joined with a Gnome now known to many as Sir Taion Orbanus. We played lightly for a few years when we built a house and got married but once I realized I was pregnant, I had to raise my kids in this wonderful organization.

Since then, I have always helped where I could; retaining for royalty, supporting the fighting field, learning new skills, and standing ready to assist wherever was needed. I have held the office of local chronicler, exchequer (more than once), and seneschal. Been known to catch a crowd with my voice or feed a camp.

These are some highlights, but you are welcome to come chat with me any time.

I truly love and care for this game we play and hope I can help you feel the same. As we continue to move away from this trying time, I hope all can find their joy in the SCA again.
