I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.
I am Edmond Cambell (MKA Ed Luebke) and live in the Barony of Windhaven. I have been playing for about 10 years. In that time, I have been a rattan fighter, rapier fighter, herald, scribe, and done some artistic works. My artistic medium of choice is wood burning.
I have held the Baronial offices of Knight Marshal, Seneschal, and Herald, but this is my first time having a Kingdom-level office. I am open to suggestions, questions, comments, and concerns, and will make decisions based on what I feel is best for the Kingdom and all involved.
At this point, with the SCA just starting to take its first tentative steps into reopening, I feel it best for us as Chatelaines to focus on retaining members, rather than trying to actively recruit right now. New members are important, don't get me wrong, but the nature of the SCA is changing too much right now for me to want to focus on recruitment when we don't know how much of the "Before times SCA" will be back, or when.
Thank you to Baroness Coquette and Maxima (Runa) for your continued assistance in transitioning into this office! Your help has been invaluable. I look forward to working with all of you as we do our part to make Northshield thrive in the changing times ahead of us!
