October 2011 Northwatch Missive

Greetings unto the populace ofNorthshield,

We eagerly await our Crown Tourney andthe securing of Northshield’s line of succession. We look forward to seeing everyonethere. After fighting in so many Crowns it will be an enlightening experience forus to sit and observe, as one unfolds before us. We look forward to this event.

Viscountess Astrid posted a messageto the Northshield Hall on August 31 detailing the work of the scribes. Inorder to make their job easier we are asking for award recommendations to comein no more than a month before the event, earlier is even better. This willgive our fine artists more time to produce the wonderful original artworks theyso generously donate.

We have often wondered what thepurpose of updating our profiles on the Northshield website, listing the eventswe are attending, and then we won Crown. It turns out that every awardrecommendation we get is hyperlinked to the profile of the intended recipient. Sometimesthe person recommending you is guessing what events you will be attending ordoesn’t quite know your persona details. If you keep both up to date it makesit more likely you will be at the event your award is presented and that yourpersona will be referenced correctly in your award.

We anticipate a wonderful fallschedule of events, and look forward to the time we will spend together addingto the vision that is Northshield.
