July 2011 Northwatch Missive

Greetings Kinsmen,

There are a couple of safety issuesthat have come to my attention that need to be immediately addressed. First,combat and combat related activities (training, classes and slow work) are onlypermitted in designated list areas or class area, if the list is closed putyour toys away. Secondly, under no circumstances is kicking of a shield a legalor acceptable technique on the list field.

As mentioned in last month's missive,the Ice Falcon thrusting tips are now an official weapons experiment inNorthshield. The experiment is open to all members of the Order of Chivalry andany else via specific permission of the KEM.

I am currently taking applicationsfor a number of my deputy positions. If you are interested in a position pleaseemail your qualifications and letter stating your interest in the position.These positions are: Eastern, Central, and Western Regional Armored CombatMarshals, Constable of the Cavalry, Emergency Deputy Earl Marshal, Minister ofTournaments and Kingdom Rapier Marshal.
