There are many ways to have fun in our game. Most of us do the thing that is fun for us. We believe most of us try to make the game fun for others. Court can be fun. The pageantry, the looks on the faces of those who cannot believe their name has been called by the heralds, the shtick, can all add to enjoyment of an event.
It has come to our attention, however, that for some being called up to court is not fun. In addition, We would like to increase the number of people who receive the award when it is given. We are going to make an effort to accommodate people, but what that is going to look like exactly is yet to finalized. If you have thoughts, please contact Us or our chamberlains. We want to recognize the wonders of Northshield in the best way possible.
We recognize, as our Ancestors before Us have, that We cannot see all the good that is Northshield. So We ask, as has been asked before, be eyes where We are not. Be the mouths, the hands, arms, the ears that taste food and drink that others provide, that hold the sensational crafts and arts, that test the skill of others, that hear stories and song of Northshield.
