Greetings good people of Northshield,
We would like to thank everyone for the wonderful time we had at WW. It was great to see so many in attendance and having fun. It was a wonderful experience for Us to be able to recognize so many of you for your hard work and wondrous achievements. Especially gratifying was bestowing the Order of the Laurel to Baroness Eithni ingen Talorgain and to the Order of the Pelican to Katriona ni Chonarain. We also had the first meetings for all the Grant orders of Northshield, we found them great opportunities to meet each order and see where and how they would like to effect Northshield.
We found the experience gratifying and we hope those who attended also had a positive experience. At WW We also met some new additions moved from Calontir, please make them welcome and see that Northshield becomes their home.
Later this summer at Gimli, We will be completing His Excellency Hroder’s vigil by elevating him to Knighthood, please join us at this relaxing event. It will be wonderful to end our summer of war with a peaceful and fun weekend up north.
This month we join the Dragon and Tiger to do battle in the Kingdom of Æthelmarc. Though We are holding our decision about who to side with, you can rest assured that a good time will be had by all. We continue to encourage attendance by all so that Northshield may shine as an army and Kingdom on the largest stage in the Society.
Though it is later in Our Reign we are seeking an administrative change in regards to the armored combat rules. We have taken council form Our Chivalry and Our Earl Marshall and we all feel it is time to bring Northshield rules more in line with the society minimums. We will be reviewing the rules and aligning them with society minimums wherever possible, with perhaps some slight differences based on our specific needs. Please know we are working with our Heirs on these changes and changes will be detailed further in future missive from Our Heirs, Our Earl Marshall, or Ourselves.
See you at Pennsic
Yours in Service
