June 2011 Northwatch Missive

Greetings unto the Gentles of the Kingdom of Northshieldfrom Morgan and Lusche sovereigns of these great lands.

We sincerely hope that when this reaches all that the stormsand cold of winter are firmly behind us the memory of the ice and snow meltsaway in the spring and summer sun.

Also by the time the messengers have delivered this ourCrown Tourney will have been held and our Heirs will be known to all. We thankthe Shire of Korsväg for hosting and making the day a special one for all. Weknow that when it comes time for us to step down from the Stellar Thrones thatthe line of Northshield will be secured and the Kingdom will be in good hands.

This month we look forward to seeing everyone at MermaidsXVIII in the Shire of Turm an dem See; at the Rose Tournament in the Shire ofShattered Oak; and at Moorish Tavern in the Shire of Midewinde.

Warriors of Northshield, again, the summer months come andthe time to test our mettle is coming upon us against any and all who wouldstand against us. We would ask that you take the field to seek out the greatestchallenge, the hardest fight, and the heart of the battle--for only in the heatof the forge and upon the anvil can iron be tempered to steel. One never knowswhen the call may go out to defend our lands, or when an ally calls for ouraid. I know that Northshield will not be found wanting when that day comes.

As all travel about our Kingdom and visit other lands wewould ask that everyone take time to look at and notice the little things. OurSociety is a wonderful place full of grandeur and spectacle, yet the grandesttapestry is made up of the smallest stitch. We find it a joy to look close andsee those small things that make up and hold together the very fabric of ourSociety. We would invite all to share this.

With love and warm thoughts,

 Morgan & Lusche
