Greetings unto the armored combatants of Northshield from your new Kingdom Armored Combat Marshal! The winter is upon us and it is time to look back at our heroes of the summer season and train to emulate them over the winter.
I would like to thank Sir Cecil Hagan for his excellent job as the first Northshield Kingdom Armored Combat Marshal. He is off to a well-earned break! He will be staying on as my emergency deputy for a few months as we transition. In his wake, I am getting ready to organize the rolls of marshals and combatants that your domesdays have provided me.
The regional officers for armored combat shall be as follows: Hamish Nisbet (Woodlands/East), Vladimir Radescu (Lakes/Central), and David de Bohun (Plains/Western). Thank you to Tashfin for his excellent work as Western Regional! Rumors abound that Hamish and Vladimir are getting ready to retire soon so keep your eyes open for changes. Both these gentles have worked exceptionally hard and should not be denied a rest if they wish it. The position of Youth Armored Combat Marshal is still up in the air as Armond is looking to retire.
A few things to think about as we head into the winter training season:* Are there any new weapons that you would like to see as experimental?* Is there anything in the rules that you find vague or confusing?* Are there any scenarios that you would like see run at wars, regionals or practices?* What is one thing that you can do this winter to make yourself a better fighter?* What is one thing that you can teach your group this winter?
