Stallari Council minutes; Coronation, Shire of Shattered Oak, September 9, 2017.

Ministers Attending:

King: Kaydian Bladebreaker

Queen: Cassandra Antonelli

Seneschal: Honorable Lord Eysteinn Meinfretr

Chancellor of the Exchequer: Master Michael St. Christian

Deputy Polaris Herald: Honorable Lord Iohannes Glenfidanus

Arts & Sciences: Mistress Eithni ingen Talorgain

Earl Marshal: Duke Lars Wolfsblut

Web Minister: Master Abelard die Elster

Chronicler: Mistress Isabella Beatrice della Rosa (called Belle)

Law Clerk: Baron Gabriel Kjotvason

Stallari Secretary: Domina Berenice Calvina

The council was informed that the Kingdom Exchequer, Baroness Apollonia Sybilla Rebil, has resigned. Master Michael St Christian was appointed temporary exchequer until the position is filled after advertisement. Discussion was held on how to get all the paperwork and files to Michael. Michael also spoke of the need to get all information onto the Web server. Baron Rodrigo de Montoya is helping with this task.

The Honorable Lord Iohannes Glenfidanus has been approved as the new Polaris Herald. He will step up at Boar’s Head in December.

Bids for Spring Coronation and Crown were discussed. The Barony of Jararvellir lost their site and has had to withdraw from hosting Coronation. There are currently 2 bids for Crown. A decision on sites will be made after another call for bids.

Countess Devon Ffrench has proposed a new deputy position to be under the Kingdom Seneschal. The position would be of Deputy Relief Co-coordinator, working on aid to Kingdoms that have experienced disasters. The Law Clerk will check into the legal side of this. Tabled until further notice.

The seneschal reported on efforts to ensure all groups are following Corpora policies. There were 2 cases of signatories living in the same home or being related; the conflicts are being resolved. The Law Clerk will verify exactly what “being related” means.

The Minister of Arts & Sciences reported that the SUN Chancellor is ready to step down after SUN in November, and that the minister herself is looking to step down in the spring. A site is needed for the Kingdom A&S competition to be held in late February or early March.

The Earl Marshal is working on defining who can be a training marshal; Master Simon Morcar is helping him with the wording of the definition. There has been informal positive feedback on the heavy combat thrusting tip trials; he would like more feedback and is encouraging the marshals in charge to do so.

The Web Minister reported he has been in office for 2 ½ years and is required to step down. The PayPal link is up; it needs a little more work. When it is fully functional it will show all events which are eligible to use PayPal; it was mentioned it will function the same way as the page Gulf Wars uses. There is an Exchequer deputy in charge of this. The Web Minister will be speaking with the new Deputy of Regalia to get the regalia listed on the Kingdom Web page; this will enable an inventory to be established and tracked.

The Chronicler opened discussion of setting the deadlines for the submission of officers’ missives. She pointed out the importance of getting policy information published in order to be inline with Corpora. Also, as Lord Iohannes Glenfidanus will be the Polaris Herald as of Boar’s Head, we will need a new historian. There is also a need for ideas for the 2018 editions of the Northwatch.
