Greetings to the Populace of Northshield from Toki Magnusson, freshly installed Deputy Seneschal for Media Relations.
I’d like to thank Her Excellency Guenievre du Dragon Vert for being a mindful steward of this office, which has made the stepping into this office a peaceful transition. She has also given me some wonderful foresight in the managing the office.
Policies are located on the Kingdom Web site under the seneschal deputy section along with contact information. At this time, there are no changes to any policies, so keep reporting coverage as indicated by the polices. I am planning to develop information for the Web site for access by media sources.
Now would also be an appropriate time to introduce myself. I have been a member of the SCA since 1981 and in that time I have held several local officer positions and deputy positions for kingdom officers. My interests include the study of Norse society during the Viking period, armoured and rapier combat (as Otes MacKe), and learning skills needed to make things to create a period persona. Modernly, I recently graduated with a BS in technical communication, a minor in journalism and specialization in public relations and public information.
