The Northshield website has stayed up for six days in a row. I'm willing to begrudgingly admit that the problem might be corrected. I realize, having met and become quite well acquainted with Murphy and his laws, that posting this will mean a terrible nasty crash soon.
The site is still being backed up regularly and we have contingency plans in place, but they're not easy or quick.
An automated system is in place to monitor the situation and is posting updates to the Northshield Support facebook page. We have all new outage messages prepared and ready, now with added graphics.

The Northshield website has been up and down over theweekend. The last time we saw performance like this was just before the BigCrash of April last year. I've been on the phone with our hosting provider'ssupport team but we haven't gotten very far; they're in the denial stage ofsupport. (I moved straight into resolution.)
The site is being backed up regularly and we havecontingency plans in place, but they're not easy or quick. As much as it painsme to say it, please don't rely on the Northshield website for criticalinformation this week.
