Grainne is an Irishwoman from a tuath in western Connachta, born in 920. The daughter of the previous ri and sister-in-law to the current one, she serves as a warrior and has taken enough cattle on raids to leave her comfortably-appointed. Grainne is illiterate (which makes it hilarious that I'm the newsletter editor).
Grainne divorced her husband and his family paid insult-damage to hers for his infidelity. Since they had no children while married, neither are particularly good marriage prospects. Grainne's current partner is Norse.
My interests are music/stories, service, and armored combat.
My pronouns are she/her and my name is pronounced "GRAWN-yuh DUNN". The Irish title "bantiarna" is roughly "BAHN-teer-nah".
