Bóthilðr Sigurðardóttir
Persona:
929c.e. Götland, Town of Visby
I manage a profitable trading enterprise started by my 1st husband; Einarr Frøbiornson. He was killed trying to raid trade along the Volga River. Our son, Njal being ever so much better at swordplay trading than his father, made it back to Visby with chests full of silver coins, silks from the East and other exotic wares.
I manage a large stead where the farming of sheep, cattle and assorted poultry is done by our thralls farm workers. I, along with the ladies of my household take careof the spinning, weaving and dying of cloth for fine clothing. As well, the preparation of cheese, skyr and buttermilk, bread, ale and mead fall under my watchful eye.
I eventually remarried, this time to a skáld…Julian the Foolhardy is what he calls himself (he met Njal in Kiev, although he hails from a place called York far to the west…he never did explain why he was there….),and foolhardy he is, for he has traveled to the East with Njal on a “trading”expedition. It has been a year since they have left and I am left to wonder if they are safe. I hope to be reunited with them soon!

I have not registered name or device as of yet, but I am sure I want a wild boar, as far as a favorite insect...well, that would be a honey bee, as for flowers, I think tiger lilies, woad flowers and madder plant/root would be my favorites.
