Johann von Metten is a 7th century Benedictine monk of Metten Abbey on the Danube between the Imperial towns of Regensburg and Passau. He entered the monastery as a widower, as most religious of his time did. He has a large family spreading through many generations and throughout the Empire.
In AS XXXIV King Edmund and Queen Kateryn of the Middle raised me to the accolade of Laurel for my work in animal husbandry, I am known in many lands as the chicken laurel!!! My apprentice, Baroness Gwendolyn MacCattan and I have often brought poultry and other period livestock to teach with at events, including WW!!
While I live in the middle of the Middle, I often travel to Northshield ( St. Cloud, Litttle Falls and Brainerd, Minn.) on mundane and family b business and to visit many of my dear friends in Nordskogen.
I currently have one apprentice in Northshield, Lady Morgaine Blood from the shire of Darkstone, she is a ever growing source of information on Icelandic livestock!
