| An early 16th century Frenchwoman camp follower. No, not one of "those" camp followers! Aveline has joined her husband (Lord Marcus Wulf) on campaign and does the cooking, laundry, sewing, etc for him and other members of his unit. Because she is not one of "those" camp followers, her husband thought it necessary that she learn how to protect herself. Thus, Aveline can generally be found wearing at least two knives. (Her favorite is a 12-inch "cooking knife".) She is also starting to learn about armored combat and rapier fighting. However, her passion will always be sewing garb, cooking, and planning children's activities for her son (James Markeson). |
