The Ninth Annual Provost Challenge!
A day full of fencing fun guaranteed to satisfy your need for rapier combat!
Join your fellow fencers in a day of challenge as you push your skills, learn from each other, and see who becomes the next Provost Champion!
This year we are back at the Oahe Downstream Lodge, Oahe Downstream Campground. This is just below Oahe Dam, 5 miles north of Ft. Pierre.
The site has free camping. There are two showers and limited crash space in the lodge. There will be time for a Bardic fire and a pot luck on Saturday night.
The site is WET.
There is also boating and fishing in the campground.
Site is handicap accessible.
There are several restaurants and fast food locations within 20 minutes of the site if you prefer. Hotels are also within short distance. Youth fencers welcome!
When:
Friday, April 25th: Site opens at 5pm
Saturday, April 26th:
9am– 5pm - Practice, pickups, cut and thrust and the Tournament
Sunday the 27th: Site closes at 11am
Site fee:
$10.00; includes lunch; bring an appetite for stew and fresh baked bread! NMS applies
Park Entrance fee: $4 per person or $6 per car load per day.
