Four Decades and Four Kingdoms !

On October 3-4, 2009, at the University of Chicago, the Incipient Barony of Aryeton will host the Midrealm XL Celebration and the Coronation of Dag and AnneMarie.

In honor of the Midrealm and in honor of the related kingdoms of Northshield, Calontir, and Ealdormere, all are invited to join the celebration!

Look forward to:

Emphasis on our shared culture and the continuity of our customs and tradition.

Displays and History focused on interactions between experienced members and fresh faces, sharing the stories and legends of the Current Middle Ages, and creating new memories.

Event activities celebrating each of the decades roughly corresponding to the dates when we joined the SCA and encouraging interaction between them:

1st Decade: 1969-1979
2nd Decade: 1979-1989
3rd Decade: 1989-1999
4th Decade: 1999-2009

On Oct 4, the same site will be available for a huge regional fighting practice. Come one, come all!
