The Nineteenth Annual Provost Challenge
Site opens 5pm Friday. Site closes 11am Sunday
Join your fellow fencers in a day of challenge as you push your skills, learn from each other, and see who becomes the next Provost Champion!
Youth fencers welcome!
The site has free camping. There are two showers and limited crash space in the lodge. There will be time for a Bardic fire and a potluck on Saturday night.
The site is WET.
There is also boating and fishing in the campground.
The site is handicap accessible.
There are several restaurants and fast-food locations within 20 minutes of the site if you prefer. Hotels are also within a short distance. See our website for lists.
Schedule:
Friday 5pm - Registration. Social hour
Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 Registration and authorizations
10:00am -12:00 Impromptu Classes held over period fencing styles/ authorizations.
12:00- 1:00 Lunch
1:00-3:00 Provost Challenge
3:00-5:00 Teaching, pick-ups , and/or melee upon interest
6:00 Pot Luck meal
Sunday 11:00am site closes
Site fee:
$25.00 / $15.00 with member discount. Includes lunch; bring an appetite for stew and fresh baked bread!

Park Entrance fee: $4 per person or $6 per car load per day.
Camping is free on site. In addition, there is limited crash space in the lodge.
Merchants are welcome, there is no fee.
Location: Oahe Downstream Lodge, Oahe Downstream Campground.
