Newcomer’s Point: SCA 101 is an event for anyone new, newish, or interested in learning more about how to get started in, and the basics, of Northshield and the SCA. This event is open to everyone in the Kingdom and beyond.
There will be a social room, breakout rooms for informal chats about the arts & sciences, fight-y stuff, stories, and also mini classes that cover how to utilize online sources and where to find them, finding and taking virtual classes, developing a persona, balancing modern and SCA life, beginning garb (outfits) and advanced if you have questions, and how chatelaines can help you. You are welcome to participate in as little or as many activities as you like. There will also be Q&A time and afterwards, social time for those who want to stay longer and chat.
