Come join us for a day in the Park. The city of Superior has an archery range not far from site-archery is not allowed in the park. We will have an armored combat marshal but for rapier and archery you will need to provide your own. For those who wish to dance there is space. There is also space for a bardic circle. If you have a project that you are working on, bring it and share. A soup will be provided for lunch, please bring a dish to share. Water will be available but not showers.
This is the same site that we used last summer.
Billings Park is located at the west end of N 21st Street. We will again have the big pavillion. We have the pavillion from 10-5 but the park doesn't close until dark. To get to the park: From from I35 take hwy 2 east into Wisconsin. After crossing the bridge take the first right after the first stop light. Follow Garfield Ave south to N 21st. Take a right on N 21st to the west for 2 mile. The street comes back on itself and take the right and into the Park.
From the north come into Wisconsin on hwy 53. Once across the bridge-go straight off the bridge onto Hammond Ave. Follow Hammond to 21st St and turn right. Follow the directions above from there.From the south and east come into Superior on 2 & 53. Turn left at the second stop light (18th ave E). Take a right at the next stop light E 5th ST. Follow E 5th to 21st St. There is a sign on that corner pointing the way to the national guard armory. It will go off at an angle to the left. Follow that to the end and the park.
