Come join the Barony of Small Gray Bear for three days of fighting, learning, cooking, and revelry on the north border of Gleann Abhann.

The site:Beautiful Camp Cedar Valley near Viola, AR – a fantastic woodland of wonder, with a plentitude of camping areas and restroom facilities. Bring your tents and encampments and enjoy the fantastic scenery.

The classes:Two full days of classes on everything from research to preparation to cuisine to cooking to cleaning up! Explore what people ate, what they cooked, how they cooked, what they used to cook, and much more.Special classes on herbal subjects, brewing and beverages, and subtleties will also be offered. To teach a class, please contact Lady 'Aziza Parchi (Kimberly Taylor) at taylor0308@gmail.com. Demonstration kitchens are available for instructors -- please send your class requirements along with your proposals.

The fighting:Battles and skirmishes based on incidents involving food and spices will be had on Saturday. On Friday, join in one or more of a variety of heavy, rapier, and youth tournaments. The competitions:Think you can cook? Show us! A variety of cooking competitions will be held throughout the event, including a Best of Gleann Abhann "Feed The Populace" outdoor cooking competition Friday night.
