Directions
Use Google maps link below - if you use MapQuest, enter Grove Lane and 16th Avenue for an address. That will get you within a block of the Student Union.
Once you reach Brookings:
AVOID coming in on Hwy 14 unless you know your way around, as Sixth Street is under construction.
Instead go a mile farther north to exit 133 and come west on the Hwy 14 bypass (exit is marked as Huron and DeSmet).
Take the first left turn off the Hwy 14 bypass (22nd Avenue, heading south) and follow the road until you see a line of trees.
Turn right (west) at the trees, which is 11th street. If you miss the turn you will end up at a major intersection, with a Wal-Mart and Perkins on your left and Dairy Queen ahead on your left.
Once you turn onto 11th Street follow it until it deadends (about a mile). The Performing Arts Center will be on your right.
Turn left onto 16th avenue, go slow, and take the third right onto Grove Lane. If you turn too soon you end up in the wrong parking lot. Grove takes you directly to the student union. There is an unloading zone right up next to the building.
If you know your way around campus, you can park in front or back.
Food

Off-site fast food:
There will be an hour or so break for noon break, and places close to campus include Burger King, McDonalds, Bagel/ice cream shop, Z-Kota, Dairy Queen, Taco Johns, Subway, Papa Johns, Dominoes, Godfathers, Pizza Hut, Pizza Ranch, and Kentucky Fried Chicken among others
