Site opens at 9:00 AM at the Carnegie Center and closes at 9:00 PM. Site will move nearby on Sunday for rapier and armored combat at the Mouse River Players. Sunday’s site will open at 10:00 AM and close at 4:00 PM. Site is DRY. Both sites are handicapped accessible.
Saturday is devoted to the studies of Arts & Sciences. Classes will be taught throughout the day on a range of subjects starting at 10:00 AM. As in years past, we will host the Heart on the Sleeve contest. We ask all to wear a heart (in any medium) on their sleeve Saturday. Participants will be judged and a King and Queen of Love will be chosen. All attendees are encouraged to participate in the A&S display and informal competition.
Sunday our focuses shift to the practices of rapier and armored combat. Please check our website for further information.
A simple lunch will be served on Saturday to all with a paid pre-registration. Please pre-register by February 11th. No feast will be served however there are several restaurants nearby and delivery options will be available. Please send pre-registration forms (available online at www.midewinde.org) to Lady Giulianna and make checks payable to SCA Inc – Shire of Midewinde.
