The Artisan Faire is planned as a relaxing and collaborative day for Northshielders to share their arts & sciences, in a different format from Kingdom A&S or Stellar University of Northshield. Rather than a day of competition or structured classes, the Artisan Faire will focus on displays, informal demonstrations, and a small number of workshops. There will also be plenty of populace space for you to work on projects, ask others for help or feedback, and explore rabbit holes. We hope to see you there!

To help us plan space, please fill out the Google Form linked below if you are interested in a display or demonstration.

Display: Show off your finished project, work in progress, research, or that thing you tried that went horribly wrong (and what you learned from it)! Documentation is not required, but please feel free to bring books, photos, a short writeup, a list of good websites, or anything else to help a curious person understand more about what you have been working on.

Demonstration: Bring your tools and materials and let people see how your marvelous things are actually done! Share your techniques, tips and tricks. As with displays, documentation is not required, but information to share is encouraged.

If you'd like to offer a hands-on experience in addition to your display or demonstration, the event site can accommodate a small number of workshops. This can be a skill-sharing opportunity (teaching a craft) or a collaboration (a group of people working on a specific project together).
