Missive

Unto Our Brothers and Sisters Northshield come greetings from your King and Queen,

We hope this missive finds you safe and in good company within your manors and halls. If the fire in your hearth was half as warm and inviting as the camaraderie and good fellowship We have seen this holiday season then your home shall never want for comfort.

Boars Head certainly lived up to its reputation as one of Our Kingdom’s marquee events. On behalf of the Kingdom, We join Caer Anterth Mawr in expressing Our heartfelt thanks to Valerius and Alice for their eighteen years of unflagging service at the helm of a venerable and proud Barony.

We were also pleased to invest Baron Alasdair and Baroness Kateryn in the High Seat. We are sure they will do great things in their new role. We are also proud to confirm Her Excellency Eithne for a second term as the Baroness of Jararvellir. The overwhelming support for her is a testament to the customary grace with which she leads the Barony.

War is hotly upon us. Both the Kingdoms of Ansteorra and Trimaris have attempted to ply your Crown with reason and treasures for Our alliance at the coming Gulf Wars. The attention We have been shown is the product of Northshield’s substantial yearly presence at this most enjoyable War. We look forward to seeing many of the familiar faces of Our kinsmen on the field and in Our camps.

His Majesty has laid a challenge to have 25 spearmen take the field under the Northshield banner in the appropriate War Points. We are pleased this goal has a great chance to succeed, and We encourage you to join Us.

Our travels this month take Us to Rumble in the Forest and Nordskogen’s 12th Night. We look forward to celebrating the season with as many of you as We can.

We wish you safe travels and good cheer,

Siegfried and Gwyneth
Rex and Regina, Northshield.
