The winter months upon us, and We, as you, look forward to the time of the Holidays, spent in joyful celebration with family and friends. Though the winter months are long, the time can be happily spent in preparation of arts and craft, and repairs to armour and weapons. We look forward to seeing you all at the various events in the coming months, but as Northshield’s winters can be as strong and fierce as her people, We encourage you to use prudence in all your travels.
This month brings the celebration of the Kristkindlmarkt at Boar’s Head in Caer Anterth Mawr. We would like to take this opportunity to commend and thank Their Excellencies Valerius and Alice, who have long and faithfully held Our lands there. We are not only grateful for the leadership they have shown Our populace, We thank them for giving all of us an example of Courtesy, Kindness and Grace for which to strive. We will miss their guidance, but know that Our lands will be in very good hands under the new Baron and Baroness.
We also would like to commend Our Baroness Eithni, and the Barony of Jararvellir for their hard work in hosting the Known World at the Costumer’s Symposium. We are proud to be able to show Our best to the Known World.
Your Crown has held audiences with both Their Majesties of Ansteorra and Trimaris. Great honors and praise have been given to Our Kingdom in order to curry the favor of the Griffin. Both sides know the mettle and effectiveness of Northshield’s Army and deeply desire it’s aid and We will not take lightly the choice with whom to ally. We look forward to taking a mighty host to Our neighbors in the south, and hope as many of you as possible will join us at Gulf Wars in Gleann Abhann in March, to take part in this friendly rivalry.
