I am the newest Polaris Principal Herald of the Stellar Kingdom of Northshield. Many thanks to Iohannes for his service and leadership during his tenure! He has left some big shoes to fill. He will be staying on the Polaris staff as the emergency deputy for the next several months to ensure a smooth transition.
The Q1 focus for the College is heraldic education. We have recently started commentary meetings, both in person (first Tuesday of the month) and online (second Wednesday of the month). These sessions are intended to encourage heralds of all skill levels to learn about what happens once a name or device is submitted. As a voice herald, I have found these sessions to be a valuable resource as I expand my heraldic knowledge. I hope you will join us! Additionally, please ensure that you download the most recent version of the Boke of Ceremony from the website. An update was pushed in November. Of note, the newest version corrects the baronial order of precedence. Big shout out to the Baronial leadership of Nordskogen, CAM, and Jararvellir for pointing it out.
