We have had several gentles trying out various aspects of Heraldry including Court Heralds and Consulting Heralds. This is exciting and anyone that wants to check out what this entails is encouraged to contact me at herald@northshield.org. We have opportunities to assist with courts, consultation tables, and tournaments. As well as several Shires that do not have a local Herald. If this interests you, I look forward to hearing from you. Experience not required.
I have a few staff changes to announce within the Northshield College of Heralds and Scribes.
Firstly, I would like to welcome Lady Derbáil ingen Néill as the new Kingdom Clerk of Precedence effective immediately. This role collects all the awards given out in the various Royal and Baronial Courts and updates your profile and the Order of Precedence. This is a good reminder to check your profile to make sure it accurately reflects the awards you have received. If not, contact Lady Derbáil with updates and corrections at cop@northshield.org. Gentles without a Northsield website profile are encouraged to create one.
Secondly, Master Cy has indicated to me his intention to step down from the role of Kingdom Signet following the completion of the reign of Their Majesties. I am pleased to announce that Baroness Bebhinn Inghean Ui Siodhachain will step into this role. My thanks to Master Cy for his service!
