Greetings to the good people of Northshield!
There is great reason to rejoice now that the Kingdom has heirs and the succession of the Stellar throne is insured! We know you all join Us in welcoming Kitadate-denka and Æsa Gilsdottir as Our successors. We are certain that they will enjoy the same generosity and good will from the people of Northshield and which is so greatly needed to accomplish the daunting but rewarding task of serving Northshield as members of the Royal Family.
Speaking of succession, we would like to thank all the people who helped make our own Coronation in the shire of Midewinde a truly memorable day. Specifically, we would like to thank Thorbjorn (aka Thunderbunny) and all the crew who helped Us and many others with all the loading and unloading, as well as Julian and all those who helped make the event a complete success. The artisans too deserve a great deal of recognition for bringing beauty and displaying their talents.
On the subject of arts, we would like to encourage any aspiring artist to join Us in a true head to head A&S competition at WW this year. See Master Tarik’s letter for details. Speaking as people who would really like to partake in this endeavor, We truly hope this event is well attended, and becomes an annual event in Northshield.
Fina would also like to encourage the youth of the kingdom to join her for story time at most events that We are attending, but especially at WW, where she will also host a reception where she can talk to youth about their participation in the Quest that was announced at Coronation. Viscountess Guilia, the Northshield MoY, has more information about the Quest.
Though gentle with children, Fina is fierce when challenged, thus she will be off to “It’s Only a War” to inspire the warriors of Northshield on a little raiding into the Realm of the Dragon. So dangerous is her inspiration that Tarrach, in an uncharacteristic display of mercy, has decided to take his sons on a quite fishing and bog beast hunting expedition in the northeastern portion of the realm during the time Fina is off to war. We both encourage all with the fire for battle in their belly to join Fina at ‘It’s Only a War’, and those who just want to get a little closer to nature, to join Tarrach at ‘Woodland Romp’. We look forward to seeing many of you at these and other upcoming coming events!
