Unto the Populace of Northshield do Yehudah Khagan and Hrodir Bek send warm greetings in this cold season!
Rumours of impending war have reached us, from far to the south. The details remain sketchy, but all signs point to a major conflagration between the southern kingdoms as soon as the weather permits a campaign, probably as soon as mid-March! Northshield must be ready to lend our might when the time comes, and we call on our combatants to begin their preparations!
Meanwhile, we’re approaching the holiday season. The days are shorter, the world is colder, and it comes down to us to be that much warmer, and provide that much more light, for the people around us. Whatever you celebrate, or even if you don’t celebrate anything at all, we encourage you to remember: Illuminare — to light the way.
By the time you read this, the Feast of the Boar’s Head will be in the past, and Yehudah will likely be on his way to visiting Calontir for Kris Kinder. Coming up, we will both be at Nordskogen’s Twelfth Night, and Yehudah is hoping to get to Castel Rouge for Shake, Rattle and Roll. Then, Yehudah and Their Highnesses are making a state visit to the East for their Market Day at Birka. February will see Yehudah at Lupercalia, Brigits Fire, and That Moot Thingy, while Hrodir will be at Hertzkreig.
