As we all digest the overindulgence of food and family that we’ve all just survived, and I’d like to take this time to think forward, into this year. By the time of this publication, Northshield will have submitted its Domesday report, completing our financial obligations for 2017 and moving on to the next. And speaking of moving on …
Please note that there are several exchequer positions opening up. If you have the skills and the time, please consider helping by taking up one of the open offices! Whether in our Known World or back in the real Middle Ages, money makes the world go round — help it turn smoothly!
In other news, it has been brought to my attention that the Masters and Mistresses of Defense have started a sponsorship program to help new fencers with the event site fees for their initial authorization. I will be helping them handle the finances of this initiative. So, if you know of any new fencers who are attending an event to attempt their initial Rapier authorization, please let any member of the MoD know the person’s name, and the event where they will be authorizing. We/ they would like to help them out!
