I am freshly recovered from war in the eastand come with news from our Society Earl Marshal.
Over the next few months we will beexperimenting with some more weapon construction materials. Some may have seenthe solid rattan maces that Their Excellencies Stephen and Niklos have beenusing. This experiment is now open to anyone who wishes to try them. Also,Northshield will also be part of the polypropylene rod experiment. Forinformation on where to get materials and how to construct a weapon using thismaterial, please contact me. As always, please submit a report either online orin an email to the KEM statingyour findings on these or any other experimental weapons, including anyfailures and successes.
I would like to thank all the combat archerswho have participated in the experiment with shafted arrows this war season. Youreagerness to teach and learn has been wonderful and I personally want to thankall those who have participated and sent in your reports. This does not meanthis is a closed experiment. Please continue to use and send in reports onthese weapons.
In general, I would like to say what apleasant war season it's been. Cool heads and honor has reminded me why I amproud to be part of such a great Kingdom as Northshield.
