Northwatch Article

The Northshield website is an evolving creature and can be a powerful tool. Part of its evolution sometimes manifests as outages or strange error messages, and I apologize if you've seen any of that. As my deputies and I make changes we try to minimize the effects, except as things improve. But sometimes change happens.

An ongoing effort which is kicking into higher gear is cleaning up the users and all of the bits and pieces that are associated with them. Ideally each person will have one login to the site, and that login will tie to all of their personae, their awards, their authorizations, their artwork, their articles, and everything else they've created. And whether you look up "Steve Hatfield", "Steve the Hatmaker", "Stevie Chapeau", or "Monsignor Tophat", you'll wind up looking at one page which lists everything. To this end, if you are aware of multiple profiles on the site that you would like tied together please email profilecleanup@northshield.org and we'll address it.

I also intend to resume publishing Northwatch articles on the website. Some pieces will still be available only in the publication, but officer's reports, missives from Royalty, and selected other articles will once again be linked to the appropriate places on the website. This should be effective shortly after the Northwatch is published.

And there are other changes coming as well. Stay tuned!
